`COURTHOUSE TRAGEDY' BOOK SIGNING

Luci Gardner, author of "Courthouse Tragedy," will sign copies of her book Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Salem Civic Center.

The book is a revised edition of Gardner's father's documentary on the 1912 shootout between officials and the Allen family at the Hillsville Courthouse in Carroll County.

Gardner lives in Pfafftown, N.C.
