PATSEL, MARTIN J., JR.

Martin J. (Jake) Patsel, Jr., age 59 of Roanoke, died Friday morning at his home. He was President of Roanoke Distributing Company Corporated, on the Board of Directors of Nationsbank and served in Korea during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife, Ann Fielder Patsel, Roanoke; one son, S. Kime Patsel, Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Martha Patsel Makel and David Makel, Nellysford, Va.; two grandchildren, Sagen and Avery Makel. Funeral services will be conducted at the grave in Fairview Cemetery 11:00 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Deborah Hunley. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
