STAPLES, CLAUDINE V.

Mrs. Claudine Virginia Staples, age 72, of Blue Ridge, died Thursday in a local hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge. Survivors include three sisters, Carolyn Hobson, Hattie Redd, Grace Williams, all of Blue Ridge; one brother, Ralph Williams, Montvale; sister-in-law, Ruby Williams, Montvale; brother-in-law, Harry Hobson, Blue Ridge; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ottawa Pullen will officiate, with interment in the Saunders Cemetery, Blue Ridge. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
