BOONE, MEREDITH M.

Mr. Meredith Milton Boone, age 73 of Salem, died Saturday, February 8, 1992. He was retired from the Virginia A.B.C. Board, a member of Taylor Lodge #23 A.F.&A.M. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the V.F.W., a member of Boones Chapel. He is survived by his wife, Irene R. Boone; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra H. and Ted Baldacci, Roanoke; Jerry H. and Butch Linkous, Salem; grandson, C. Todd Baldacci; granddaughters, Meredith Brooke Linkous, Brigitte LeAnn Linkous; brother, B. Keister Boone, Charlotte, N.C. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Sherwood Memorial Park Chapel with Rev. William F. Murdock and Mr. William J. Lotz officiating. Masonic Rites will also be held by Taylor Lodge #23. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the John M. Oakey's & Son Funeral Home, Salem. Contributions may be made to the Salem Rescue Squad or your favorite charity.
