GRIFFITH, WALTER H.

Walter Harlow Griffith, 85, died Saturday at a Salem Hospital. Surviving are his wife Vera Roberson Griffith, Floyd; four stepsons, Buford Griffith, Elbert Griffith, both of Check; Donald Griffith and Richard Griffith, both of Floyd; eight stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral will be Monday, 1:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home with the Rev. James Cockram officiating with interment in the Lee Cemetery on Route #615. Family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Wood Funeral Home.
