NORTHWOOD WRESTLERS WIN HOGOHEEGEE TITLE

Northwood sent five wrestlers to the championship round and won the Hogoheegee District wrestling tournament at Lebanon High School on Saturday.

Rural Retreat placed second and Chilhowie third.

All teams and all wrestlers return to Lebanon for the Region D tournament next Saturday.

Chilhowie's Jason Adams won the 145-pound division and was named the district's Wrestler of the Year. Rural Retreat coach Herb Lynch was voted the Coach of the Year. Staff report
