MAKEUP-CAKED WOMAN ROBS 7-ELEVEN STORE
A Williamson Road convenience store was robbed Saturday by a woman who apparently tried to mask her identity with bandages and a heavy application of eye shadow.Roanoke police said a woman walked into the 7-Eleven store at Williamson Road and Oakland Boulevard at about 9 p.m. and demanded money from a clerk.
The woman, who was given an undetermined amount of money, had her face covered with plastic bandages and her eyes caked with green eye shadow, police said.
The woman threatened to kill a clerk but did not display a weapon. No one was injured, police said.
Police were searching for the woman, who fled in a car.
