ELKINS, ROBERT W.

Mr. Robert William Elkins, age 82, died Tuesday, February 11, 1992. He was a ham radio operator and a phone net. He is survived by his wife, Flora H. Elkins; two stepdaughters, Marion Clay Smith, Joan A. Beverly, both of Richmond; one stepson, Joseph W. Clay Jr., Stewartsville; one sister, Allene Bowling, Roanoke; five stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 14, 1:30 p.m. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. Carter Sloan officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
