MAGNET SCHOOLS' FAIR TO SHOW OFF PROGRAMS
Musical performances, computer demonstrations and informational exhibits will be part of the Roanoke public schools' third annual Magnet Recruiting Fair.
"Exploring the Future" is the theme of the fair, which will be held Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Star City Ballroom and on the mezzanine level of the City Market Building in downtown Roanoke. Admission is free, and free parking will be available in the Market Square and Dominion Tower parking garages.
Roanoke's Magnet Schools are open, tuition free to all students, regardless of where they live. More information is available by calling 981-1089.
