ENVIRONMENTAL LECTURE AT RU
Peter Dykstra, the voice of Greenpeace during the 1980s, will discuss "Saving the Global Village," Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Heth Hall at Radford University.Dykstra, now research manager for Turner Broadcasting's "Network Earth," was Greenpeace's national media director for six years.
He also supervised the organization's video, photography, public speaking and public relations efforts for two years.
He will show clips from "Network Earth" and celebrity endorsements for Greenpeace.
His speech is sponsored by the Society for Collegiate Journalists and the Public Relations Club.
