MAN GETS 4-YEAR TERM FOR STEALING CATTLE

After pleading guilty to nine counts of cattle rustling, a Staunton man was sentenced to four years in prison.

William James Wenzel, 21, pleaded guilty to stealing calves from several Augusta County farms last October and November. He faced a maximum 10 years on each count.

Wenzel was arrested Nov. 18, 1991, along with David Richard Woolf, 31, of Weyers Cave. Woolf is to stand trial June 26. - Associated Press
