MARINES INVESTIGATING QUANTICO RAPE REPORT

The Marine Corps is investigating allegations by two Mary Washington College students that two lieutenants sexually assaulted them early Saturday after a party on the military base.

One lieutenant could be charged with conduct unbecoming an officer, and the other with sexual assault, a base spokesman said.

The two women reportedly met the officers at a dance sponsored by a Marine Basic School unit. They remained on the base after the party ended at 12:30 a.m., he said.
