WILLIAMSON, WILLIAM H., JR.
William Harvey "Buddy" Williamson, Jr., passed away Thursday, February 13, 1992. He was a life long resident of Radford. He was retired from Harvey Chevrolet Corp. and was a member of the Radford Host Lions Club for over 40 years. He was a lifetime member of the Radford Fire Department and was a member of Grove United Methodist Church where he was Secretary and Treasurer of the Mens Bible Class. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Harvey and Laura Burnett Williamson; a brother, Burnett Williamson; and two sisters, Lucille Williamson and Mrs. Ruth Reese. Survivors include his wife, Hazel W. Williamson; two sons, William Harvey (Bill) Williamson, III, James (Jim) Burnett Williamson, both of Radford; one sister, Mrs. Alex (Anna) Buchanan of Charlotte, N.C. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home with the Rev. Will Robbins officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family requests that memorials be made to the Radford Fire Department or the Grove United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
