Two cups of milk were missing from the cheddar chowder recipe in Wednesday's Food pages.

Because of an editorial assistant's error, the gospel music concert featuring The Pfeifers and The Southern Statesmen was incorrectly listed in Friday's Calendar of Events. The concert was Friday night.

Because of an editorial assistant's error, the Sweetheart Ball at Charades, Roanoke Airport Marriott, was listed in the Calendar of Events for Friday night. The ball is also tonight and the Bartender's Ball is on Sunday.

An Associated Press story of Sunday, Feb. 9, on a loophole that lets convicted felons own firearms legally in several states incorrectly listed Florida among the states where the loophole automatically applies.

Florida does restore civil rights to felons after they complete their prison terms, parole or probation. However, the state does not automatically restore the right to own guns. Felons who want their gun rights back must wait eight years before applying to the state, then undergo a background check and win approval of the Executive Clemency Board, said Janet Keels, clemency office coordinator.
