HARLESS, FANNIE L.

Fannie Lee Harless, age 85, died Friday evening in a Rich Creek Nursing Home. She was born January 21, 1907, daughter of the late Harvey Bern and Ella Mae Holt Albert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett W. Harless, Sr. Surviving are one sister, Matt Powell, Ripplemeade; two stepsons, Clarence J. (Jack) Harless and Everett W. Harless, Jr., both of Rock Hill, S. C.; four stepdaughters, Beulah LaCross, Thelma Nichols, Lucy Giles, and Zella Hines, all of Rock Hill, S. C. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel, Pembroke. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday evening at 2:30 at Grandview Memorial Cemetery, Rock Hill, S. C. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Pembroke Saturday evening from 6:00 to 9:00. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Mt. View United Methodist Church, Pearisburg.
