HEPTINSTALL-MCCRICKARD

Sharon Kay McCrickard and Chris David Heptinstall were united in marriage on February 15, 1992, at Lynn Haven Baptist Church. The officiating clergyman was the Reverend Robert Wayne. The reception was held at the Lancerlot Club-Banquet Room. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Charles W. McCrickard.

The matron of honor was Rose Dudley, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jo Ann StClair, cousin of the bride and Bobbie Cornelison, sister of the groom. The junior bridesmaid was Ann Cornelison, niece of the groom. The flowergirl was Aliya Freyberg, cousin of the bride.

The best man was Cliff Herington, friend of the groom. The ushers were Charles Cornelison, brother-in-law of the groom and Mark Principe, friend of the groom. The ringbearer was John Cornelison, nephew of the groom.

The guestbook was attended by Elizabeth and Carol Harington.

Soloist was Harry Lester, friend of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Stella H. McCrickard of Vinton and Harold W. McCrickard of Roanoke. She is a graduate of William Byrd High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by Dominion Trust Company.

The groom is the son of the late Bobby C. Heptinstall and Claudine Heptinstall of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Salem High School and Radford University. He is employed by Grimsley and Grimsley.

The newlyweds will live in Vinton after a trip to Jamaica.
