TALIAFERRO-STOVALL
Shanda Lyn Stovall and George Andrew Taliaferro, II were married January 18, 1992 in Salem Presbyterian Church by Rev. Dr. Wilfred B. Webb, Jr. The reception was held in the church social hall. The maid of honor was Heather Stovall of Salem, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Martin and Jennifer Thompson, both of Salem. The best man was George A. Taliaferro, father of the groom. The ushers were Dave Gravely and Terri Martin, both of Salem.The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary R. Stovall of Salem. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie W. Saunders of Glasgow. Shanda is a graduate of Salem High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. George A. Taliaferro and Nell and John Ball, of Salem. He is the grandson of Mrs. Clyties StClair of Roanoke and Mr. A. C. Taliaferro of Salem. Drew is a graduate of Glenvar High School and is serving in the United States Army. The couple will be living in Germany where he will be stationed.
