CONNER, MARY S.

Mary Sowers Conner, age 90, of Salem, died Saturday, February 15, 1992. She was the widow of Elder Otie Conner. She is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Dorothy Craighead, Juanita Semones, Ortha Gay and Howard Hundley, Opaldean and Donald Conner, two sons and daughters-in-law, Elder W. T. and Jean Conner, Elder Junior and Nancy Conner; two sisters, Ora Conner and Velvie Agee; two sisters-in-law, Erma Sowers, Ruby Woods, 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Floyd County with the Elder W. T. Conner, Elder Lane Carter and Elder Junior Conner officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem.
