PULASKI COUNTY GIRLS SMASH G.W. DANVILLE

Terri Garland scored 25 points and Pulaski County pulled away in the second half for a 68-44 non-district girls' basketball victory over G.W. Danville on Saturday.

Cindy Martin added 18 and Lena Jones 11 for the Cougars (16-2), who allowed just 14 second-half points. Pulaski led 33-30 at half and broke the game open with a 19-7 third-quarter surge.
