BOTETOURT VOLLEYBALLERS WIN BLUE RIDGE TITLE

Lord Botetourt defeated regular-season champion Salem 15-4, 15-9 and won the Blue Ridge District volleyball tournament Saturday at Salem High.

Both teams advance to the Region III tournament, starting with the quarterfinals Thursday at Salem. Botetourt faces Seminole District champion Rustburg. Salem receives a bye to the semifinals next Saturday morning. The final is Saturday afternoon. - Staff report
