BLANCHER, CHARLES J.

Charles J. Blancher, age 84, of Roanoke County died Sunday in a Roanoke hospital. Mr. Blancher was a retired welder from Local 491. Surviving are his wife, Ruby H. Blancher; a son, Ronald W. Blancher, Roanoke; four sisters, Stella Steiner, Virginia Beach; Lillie Stump, Roanoke; Ercell Moorman and Irene Franklin, both of Vinton; two stepsisters, Ruby B. Hartman and Evelyn Hannabass, both of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Brian Blancher and Jennifer Blancher. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 1992, with the Rev. David Henderson officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
