NEED CANDIDATE TO PICK HOT ISSUES
I THINK we need a presidential candidate whose platform would be the stove top. His (her) emphasis should be to put foreign aid and space exploration on the back burner. On the front burner should be financial aid to the needy in America and government-debt reduction. After what is on the front burner is done, move what was on the back burner to the front.
This platform does not call for the elimination of any program or for more money to be put on the stove. It just requires a rearrangement of our priorities until our greatest needs are met. DONALD R. HILL MARTINSVILLE
