GREEN, CLYTIE H.Mrs. Clytie Holt Green, age 91, of Route 1, Callaway, died Sunday, February 16, 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Thomas Green, and was a member of the Monte Vista Church of the Brethren. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Shelby and Rebecca N. Green, Boones Mill; Fred and Helen K. Green, Rocky Mount; three daughters and sons-in-law, Gertrude and Melvin Owen, Callaway; Mary and Howard Pennell, Arlington; Patricia and David Bass, Colonial Heights; eight grandchildren, Dawn Green Banks, Claude Green, Jackson Green, Bobby Owen, Randy Owen, Richard Owen, Regina Owen, and Laura Green; five stepgrandchildren, Anne Pennell, Howard Pennell Jr., Robert Pennell, Samuel Bass, Richard Bass; one great-grandson, Ethan Green; two stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother, Elbest K. Holt, Callaway; one sister, Fannie H. Webster, Boones Mill. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 19, 1992, at 10:30 a.m. at the Monte Vista Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Frank B. Layman Jr. Interment will follow in the Monte Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Boones Mill Rescue Squad or the Callaway Rescue Squad. Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, is in charge of arrangements.
