MARCH 15 IS DEADLINE FOR SHORT-STORY CONTEST

Regional writers have until March 15 to submit original stories to the Lonesome Pine Short Story Contest held annually in conjunction with the John Fox Jr. Festival at Mountain Empire Community College.

The top prizes are $100, $50 and $25. Maximum story length is 1,500 words and only one submission per contestant is allowed.
