CRANSTON, MONIKA V.

Monika Vogt Cranston, age 49, of Cedar Key Lane, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 1992 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born December 29, 1942 in Frankfort, Germany, a daughter of Charlotte Vogt of Frankfort Germany and the late Otto Vogt. She was a member of the State Central Committee of the Republican Party of Virginia. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Col. USA Ret. Robert Cranston; one brother, Manfred Vogt, Frankfort, Germany. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 21, 1992 at 11:00 a.m. from the Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston, by the Rev. Wayne Murphy. Interment will be in the Palestine Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time only at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huddleston or Moneta Lifesaving Crews.
