Mildred Mack Gurney, age 64, died Tuesday, February 18, 1992 in Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem, Va. Mrs. Gurney was born in Rochester, New York on February 20, 1927 and was a daughter of the late Walter V. and Katherine Gleason Mack. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church of Pearisburg. She was a former resident of Rochester, N.Y. She is survived by her husband, Louis Gurney, Pearisburg; one son, Robert Becker, Avon, N.Y.; one brother, Walter M. Mack, Rochester, N.Y. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 1992 at 11:00 in the Holy Family Catholic Church, Pearisburg, Va. with Father Tom Welch officiating. The body will be sent from the Givens Funeral Home, Pearisburg to the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home, 1717 Portland Ave., Rochester, N.Y. where a visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Saint Andrews Catholic Church Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. with burial in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, N.Y. Friends may call at Givens Funeral Home, Pearisburg Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
