KING, LUCY G.

Lucy Goad King, age 80, died Wednesday in a Montgomery County hospital. She was the widow of John H. King. She was formerly of Snowville and the former owner and operator of Kings Grocery of Snowville. Surviving are two stepdaughters, Ila Agee, Roanoke; Erie K. Rollins, Tempe, Ariz.; three brothers, Toney Goad, Draper; Delma Lee Goad, Elbert E. Goad, both of Pulaski; one sister, Maudy Ellah Sutphin, Allisonia; nine stepgrandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Devilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Richard Waller and Mr. Steve Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pulaski County Life Saving Crew. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the Devilbiss Funeral Home.
