WEST POINT COACH JOINS VMI STAFF

Andre Powell, former assistant coach at the United States Military Academy, will be a member of the VMI football staff, the Keydets announced Wednesday.

Powell replaces Craig Johnson, who left for Northwestern University.

At West Point, Powell assisted with the inside linebackers and was the defensive coordinator for the junior varsity team. He will coach running backs at VMI.
