FRANKLIN MAN DIES FROM CRASH INJURIES

A Union Hall man died Monday from injuries he sustained in a Feb. 12 traffic accident.

Christopher Leo Goad, 24, was a passenger in a pickup truck heading east on U.S. 40 that collided head-on with another vehicle at the intersection of Virginia 622, according to a state police dispatcher.

His funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at Stanfield Mortuary Service in Rocky Mount.
