RHODES, MELVA D.

ROCKY MOUNT - Melva Dudley Rhodes, age 75, died Wednesday, February 19, 1992 at her home. She was secretary to Dr. Harold Ramsey, Supt. of Franklin County Schools for a number of years prior to moving to Deland, Florida where she was secretary to the Florida Roads Department until her retirement in August 1979. She then returned to her native hometown. Surviving are four sisters, Ethel Dudley Nash, Irene Dudley Ramsey and Harriet Estelle Dudley, all of Rocky Mount; Mary Dudley Horn, Roanoke; also several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Rocky Presbyterian Church with Rev. Danny Williams officiating.
