CHRISTIANSBURG NEEDS BIRTHDAY HELP

The town of Christiansburg is celebrating its 200th birthday this year with numerous activities, special events and special days. A grand historical pageant also is planned that will be based on the history of the town from its beginning in 1792.

Volunteers are still needed to make the June 19-27 celebration a success.

There are several divisions that citizens can get involved in, including student activities, tickets, special events, revenue, publicity and decorations.
