ROBERTS, BARBARA M.

Barbara Molle Roberts, age 61, of Roanoke, died Thursday in a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late John B. and Norma H. Molle, a member of First Presbyterian Church in Clarksburg, W.Va and attended Covenant Presbyterian Church in Roanoke. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Queen Esther Chapter #11 in Clarksburg, W.Va. Mrs. Roberts was a former employee of the Roanoke County Parks and Recreation Department and the C&P Telephone Company in Clarksburg, W.Va. Surviving are her husband, Jerry G. Roberts; sons, Jerry G. Roberts, Jr., of Roanoke; John Jeffrey Roberts of Richmond; Lawrence Edward Roberts of Roanoke; two sisters, Mrs. Janet E. Morse of Tucker, Ga.; Mrs. Cynthia A. Oates of Williamsport, Md.; one brother, John W. Molle of Clarksburg, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews. An Eastern Star Service will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 7:00 p.m. Sunday by the Etta Chapter #185 of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 11:00 a.m. Monday with the Rev. James F. Riach officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's South Chapel.
