DePRIEST, ELLA M.

Ella Marie DePriest, 83, died Wednesday in a Buena Vista nursing home. She was born in Buena Vista on November 6, 1908, the daughter of the late Aubrey and Nettie Burks DePriest. She was a retired teacher, having taught in the public school system for 42 years. She is survived by two nephews, Dean Major, Falls Church; Watson Major, III, Chantilly; a special friend, Edith Dixon, Buena Vista. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24 at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Hawkins officiating.
