BUCK'S BAT LEADS VMI TO BASEBALL VICTORY
Glen Buck had a home run, two RBI and two runs scored on Friday to power VMI to its first baseball victory of the season, 7-2 over Shenandoah.
Buck, who also doubled, put the Keydets (1-3) on top for good with a two-run homer in the first inning. VMI starter Billy Goodrich pitched into the sixth inning, allowed no earned runs and picked up the victory. Marc Phillips earned the save with scoreless relief.
