POLLUTION FROM ARSENAL ALREADY BAD ENOUGH
I read with interest the article in the Current about the waste incinerator at the Radford Arsenal.Let me tell you first-hand about the fallout from the arsenal.
I live at Longshop, just across the hill from the arsenal. We have never been able to leave our windows open at night, and at times the foliage and flowers have acid burns on them.
If you want your own evaluation, just drive down the highway from Longshop to Whitethorne any night between 12 and 2 a.m.
If a waste incinerator is erected over there, the residents of this valley will have to move out.\ Boyd and\ Alice McMahon\ Blacksburg
