MOST OPPOSE ALTERNATE 6 PLAN

I wish to express my family's opposition to Alternate 6, the direct link from Blacksburg to Interstate 81. This road is economically unsound and unneeded. It would be an environmental disaster, also.

Alternate 3-A and the "spur" should be the only roads built to connect to I-81.

Let us have government of the people, for the people and by the people.

A referendum put to the voters of Montgomery County and Blacksburg would, most certainly, show that a majority of the voters don't want Alternate 6.\ Richard Mittman\ Blacksburg
