Fine arts fellowship program

Applications for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Fellowship Program are available at the Roanoke Museum of Fine Arts.

The program offers financial aid to state professional artists and art students to pursue education or advance their careers in the visual arts. Application deadline is March 2. Write to: Roanoke Museum of Fine Arts, Center in the Square, One Market Square, Roanoke, Va. 24011, or call 342-5760.

Poetry reading

Roanoke College faculty members and Artemis writers will read from their works March 12 from 7 to 8 p.m. in Smoyer Gallery.

The reading is being held in association with the Artemis XV Art Exhibition, which will be on display in the gallery.
