Tammy Anne Wood and Berny D. (Buddy) Ferrill, III were married February 22,
1992 in Windsor Hills Baptist Church by Rev. Lawrence Dodson. The reception
was held at the church fellowship hall. The matron of honor was Brenda Ann
Testerman, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Bonnie Ann Wood, sister
of the bride, Marnie Meekins, friend, and Alisa Ferrill, sister of the groom.
The flowergirl was Nicole Ann Lovell, niece of the bride. The best man was Mr.
Berny D. Ferrill, Jr., father of the groom. The ushers were Jeff Delp, Curtis
Clark, Jimmy Guthrie, friends of the bride & groom. Junior usher was Jimmy
Testerman, nephew of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Jackie Ann Wood,
sister of the bride. The bride is a daughter of George, Jr. and Lois A. Wood
of Roanoke County. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and is
employed by Dominion Bankshares Corporation. The bridegroom, son of Berny, Jr.
and Louise Ferrill of Botetourt County, is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High
School. He is employed by Homestead Materials Handling Co. in Salem. The
newlyweds will live in Roanoke County after the wedding trip to Gatlinburg,
Tennessee.
