CUNDIFF, J. MAURICEJ. Maurice Cundiff, age 57 of Roanoke, passed away Saturday in a local hospital. He was an agent for W. E. Cundiff Realtors for the past thirty-eight years. Surviving are his wife, Bertha C. (Bea) Cundiff; one son, Richard C. Cundiff of Culpeper; two daughters, Virginia C. Dryer, Culpeper; Wendy G. Cahoon, Luray, Va.; stepchildren, Charles Cox, Jacksonville, N. C.; Laurie Williams, Shawsville; Connie Curtis, West Palm Beach, Fla.; three brothers, W. E. (Bill) Cundiff, Vinton; S. Wallace Cundiff, Roanoke; Jack Cundiff, Bedford; three sisters, Daisy Stevens, Bedford; Pauline Woodford, Haw River, N. C.; Helen Stevens, Bedford; one granddaughter, Heather Cahoon, eleven stepgrandchildren, two stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 24, 1992, from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. Dr. Robert L. Wayne and the Rev. James D. Smith will officiate. Burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery with graveside services by the Vinton Masonic Lodge No. 204 A.F. & A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts may be made to the Vinton First Aid Crew or the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
