GOODALL, LURY W.

Lury Wayt Goodall, 81 of Charlottesville, died Friday, February 21, 1992, in a Roanoke nursing home. Born in Madison, Va., on January 7, 1911, he was the son of the late William A. Goodall and Lucy Kate Gibbs Goodall. Mr. Goodall was a member of Rose Park United Methodist Church, Madison, and a graduate of Virginia Tech. He was a member of the Linn Banks Masonic Lodge #126 A.F. & A.M. in Madison. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Headquarters Company of the U. S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Marjory Rea Goodall; two sons, Lury W. Goodall, Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Salem; John W. Goodall of Nacogdoches, Texas; two sisters, Virginia M. Clark, Arlene G. Goodall, both of Richmond; and one grandson, Andrew Lee Goodall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Clemmie G. White. A graveside funeral service with Masonic Rites will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Madison, with the Rev. Michael Lyle officiating. The family will receive friends 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Hill and Wood Funeral Home, 201 First Street North, Charlottesville, Va.
