CRABTREE, EDITH B.

Mrs. Edith B. Crabtree, age 82, died Saturday morning in Smyth County Community Hospital. She was a member of the New Cove Methodist Church. Survivors are her husband of sixty-five years, Sidney Ray Crabtree, Saltville, Va.; three sons, William Theodore Crabtree, Superior, W.Va.; Hughes Crabtree, Philadelphia, Pa.; Kenneth Crabtree, Gray Court, S.C.; one daughter, Ione Kosmos, Fairless Hills, Pa.; one brother, Shug Buchanan, Marion, Va.; four sisters, Ruby Lamie, Lucille Clear, Dorothy Spencer, Carrie Clear, all of Saltville, Va.; ten grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; ten stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Ridgedale Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Purdy officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the D. R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, Va.
