GEORGE WYTHE TAKES REGION VOLLEYBALL TITLE

George Wythe defeated Glenvar 15-12 and 15-13 to win the Region C volleyball tournament championship Saturday at Narrows High School.

Both teams will advance to state competition. The Maroons will host the Region D runner-up Tuesday night, and the Highlanders will travel to play the Region D champion, also on Tuesday. - Staff report
