GEORGIA TECH, LIBERTY DOMINATE TRACK MEET

The Liberty men's and women's track teams won a total of eight events and Georgia Tech won seven Saturday at the Holiday Inn Invitational at Virginia Tech's Rector Fieldhouse.

For Tech's women's team, Robyn Land placed first in the 5,000-meter and Alice Gaines won the 3,000. In men's competition, Chris Williams finished first in the pole vault and the Hokies won the 3,200 relay. - Staff report
