TEAGUE, N. C. REV. Rev. N. C. Teague, age 92 of Winston Salem, died Saturday, February 22 at N.C. Baptist Retirement Home in Winston Salem. Rev. Teague was born in Chatham County, June 29, 1899 to William Claudius and Mary Jane Teague. He graduated from Siler City High School. He graduated from Trinity College (now Duke University) a Phi Beta Kappa and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. Rev. Teague was ordained to gospel ministry on May 24, 1924. He served forty-one years pastoral ministry to churches in northwestern North Carolina. He was the pastor at Sparta Baptist Church, Wilkesboro Baptist Church, Southside Baptist Church in Winston Salem, N.C. He was also the pastor of Reeds and Churchland, Calvary Baptist Church in Rowan County, and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Elkin, N.C. He was preceded in death by his wife, Moselle B. Teague. He is survived by one daughter, Ruth T. Vickers, Bristol, Va.; two sons, W. Nolan Teague and daughter-in-law, Royce W. Teague, Roanoke; J. Ned Teague, Morganton, N.C.; one sister, Mrs. Edna T. Myers, Winston Salem; one brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Teague, Raleigh, N.C.; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Frank Teague, Fayetteville, N.C.; Mrs. Bryce Teague, Charlotte, N.C.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces; eight nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Moravian Falls Baptist Church by the Rev. Ted Miller, the Rev. Homer F. Greene, and the Rev. Don Stephens with the body being placed in the church at 10:30. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Elkin, N.C. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in North Wilkesboro, N.C.
