MOWRY, VIRGINIA R. STUART Mrs. Virginia Rose Stuart Mowry, age 73 of Park Street, Stuart, Va., died Sunday in the Blue Ridge Nursing Home after a long illness. She was a graduate of Southern Business School in Roanoke and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She was a retired executive secretary for the Institute Chartered Financial Analysis of Charlottesville, Va. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gary C. (Rendy) Williams of Route 2, Stuart; one son, Robert Bowman Mowry, II of Stuart; one sister, Miss Mary Fern Stuart of Salem; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Kathleen H. Stuart, Saint Paul, Minn.; four grandchildren. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Stuart United Methodist Church with burial in the Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, Va. Monday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made, if desired, to the Stuart United Methodist Church.
