BOWER, HAROLD D. Harold D. Bower, age 76, of 3985 Grimes St., died Sunday, February 23, 1992. He was a member of Bonsack Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Stone Printing Company and Mick-or-MacK Food Stores and was an Army Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel O. Bower; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy B. Hollaway and husband, Gary of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two brothers, Harley F. Bower of Roanoke; Archie Bower of Harrisburg, Pa.; two sisters, Gentry B. Naff of Roanoke; Vera B. Farley of Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 26 with the Rev. Dr. Robert G. Moore, III, officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
