LAVENDER, LAWRENCE K. Lawrence Kerfort Lavender, age 69 of 2302 Williamson Road, died Monday, February 24, 1992 in a local hospital. He was retired from the N & W Railway. Surviving are his former wife, Evelyn P. Lavender, Roanoke; two daughters, Wanda Gayle Lavender Crockett, Joanne Marie Arnold, both of Roanoke; three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Kerfort and Kathy Lavender, Norfolk; Wesley David and Marsha Lavender, West Palm Beach, Fla.; Lawrence D. and Kimberly Lavender, Roanoke; his mother, Eva Mae Lavender, Martinsville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Oakey's North Chapel 1:00 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Dr. Thomas S. Cribb officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
