SNEAKING ABORTION IN THE BACK DOOR

I HAVE A few observations on Cody Lowe's Feb. 1 article about Planned Parenthood's offering no-interest loans to their clients. This is classic Planned Parenthood propaganda.

They present themselves as a well-intentioned social-service agency to the general public, then eventually sneak abortion services in the back door, as they have done in Richmond and other cities across the country. They plead that one of their foremost objectives is to reduce the occurrence of abortions, yet they are the largest single provider/owner of abortion clinic chains in the United States, with more than 65 clinics nationwide. This is outright deceptive and hypocritical.

Another tactic is Planned Parenthood's attempt to blur the line between contraception and abortion. Let the public beware. To regard Planned Parenthood as the authority and caretaker of society's "reproductive health" is like asking the Mafia to monitor organized crime. SUSAN E. CONRAD COVINGTON
