WRRC TOURNEY TO BEGIN TONIGHT AT BRECKINRIDGE

WRRC tourney to begin tonight at Breckinridge

The Williamson Road Recreation Club's 20th annual Biddy/Midget League Invitational Basketball Tournament will begin tonight at Breckinridge Middle School.

Eight biddy-league and 16 midget-league boys' teams and, beginning this year, four midget-league girls' teams will compete in the single-elimination tournament, which continues through Sunday.

The biddy league will play first-round games tonight, starting at 5:30. Four midget-league boys' games will be played Friday, beginning at 5:30 p.m., with the other four to be played starting at 9 a.m. Saturday. Biddy semifinals will be played at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by the girls' first round. Midget boys' quarterfinals will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Midget boys' semifinals will be at 1 and 2 p.m. Sunday, followed by the biddy boys' championship game at 3 p.m. The midget girls' final will begin at 4:30 p.m., with the midget boys' final at 6:30.

A $1 ticket is good for admission Thursday through Saturday. An additional $1 ticket is required for admission Sunday.

A boys' midget all-tournament team will be selected, and a team sportsmanship trophy will be awarded in the midget boys' division.
