ADULT EDUCATION PLAN HEARING IS TONIGHT

The last of two hearings on amendments to the state adult education plan will be held tonight from 7 to 8 at the Smyth County Education Center in the Mountain Empire Industrial Park.

Among those attending will be James P. Jones, chairman of the state education board; Lennox McLendon, head of the state adult education office; and Steve Nunes and Dallas Johnson, specialists in that office.

The other hearing was Tuesday in Fredericksburg. - Southwest bureau
